What is my professional background and training?
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College. I have a strong commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care. As a Certified Nutritional Therapist, I take a holistic approach to mental health, integrating physical and emotional well-being. I’m also a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Practitioner (PMH-C), dedicated to supporting individuals and families through the transitions of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where healing and growth can take root.Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
How do I approach therapy and client care?
My therapeutic approach is rooted in client-centered care, where your needs, values, and experiences guide our work together. I prioritize creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment, fostering a strong therapeutic relationship as the foundation for healing. Utilizing evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I tailor each session to your unique goals. My aim is to empower you to foster personal growth, resilience, and self-compassion while working collaboratively to establish clear and achievable steps toward lasting well-being.
What do I enjoy outside of work?
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me hanging out with my dog, Iggy. I’m a big fan of getting lost in a good book or tackling a challenging puzzle. I love getting movement in through fun exercise classes like Pilates or Barre. I also love being part of the community I grew up in—there’s something special about staying connected to the place that shaped me!
